COLLIES
Use all the photoshop help on this page to find out how to use the stamp tool.
here's what it will look like
Sizing a picture
open that favorite picture in Adobe Photoshop and click on the image tab at the top, then "image size". You can only change the width and resolution...nothing else. If your picture starts out 2 inches or less, it won't make a good print. Choose another picture that starts out larger (maybe 4 to 6 inches in width). Try putting the resolution up to about 300 and take it back down if it gets fuzzy.

NEVER EVER USE KODAK GALLERY PICTURES ON THESE SHOWS--they come out fuzzy because the resolution is made bad on purpose by kodak gallery so they can't be used anywhere else.
Here's a link to a show Dot Photo made automatically for me
when you're loading the program, DO NOT choose the part that puts all your pictures to Dot photo
All I did was hook my camera to the computer and Dot Photo made the show.
Mystery Zebra Picture, see if you can figure out about the stripes
WOW...amazing video
A small video camera has been developed in Japan , which shoots at 2000 frames per second. It is a high-resolution, full color, video cam, which does not need a lot of light as most high speed cameras do. In the attached demo movie, a yellow balloon has been filled with water and is then pierced with a pin. Take a look and be amazed. The balloon disappears from around the water.
Go to extra folder to watch it...it's called Japanese fast camera
FYI: Adobe launched a basic version of Adobe Photoshop available for free online.
Photoshop Express will be completely Web-based so consumers can use it with any type of computer, operating system and browser.
B&W assignment
with photoshop, add just a spot of color somewhere on a black and white picture.......
COLLAGES
Try to make a collage with your Kodak gallery album
Open the album you want to make a collage with, then choose COLLAGE on the left. Select the pictures and choose next. Make sure it says that it forms a perfect square...if it says some of the pictures will be repeated, keep deleting and adding pictures until it says it makes a perfect square.
Add a little extra flavor to your collage with the Shake It Up feature. It tilts your pictures to give the collage a more whimsical feel.
NOW YOU MUST TRY ONE USING POWERPOINT
try making a collage with ONE powerpoint slide
just "insert" pictures into one slide until it's full....
save to extra folder called
POWERPOINT COLLAGE as your name
Over 120,000 of the images in the collection have been digitized and are available for viewing online in the Digital Image Catalog (formerly Photoswest). The Digital Image Collection consists of prints and negatives that document the history of Colorado and the American West.

Need a quick way to resize a group of photographs? Then get this free PowerToy from Microsoft. It's exceptionally easy to use.
Right-click a single photograph or a group of photographs, select Resize Pictures, and a dialog box appears, letting you resize the pictures to one of four sizes: Small (640 by 480 pixels); Medium (800 by 600 pixels); Large (1024 by 768 pixels); and Handheld PC (240 by 320 pixels). When you make your selection and click OK, it will make copies of your pictures in the new size, but leave the originals intact. If you click the Advanced button before you click OK, you can choose to resize the original pictures, instead of making a copy, and you can also only make pictures smaller, not larger --- if you choose a size larger than the original size, the program simply won't make them larger.
CLICK BELOW TO DOWNLOAD THE PROGRAM AT HOME (we've already downloaded it to all lab computers).
imageresizer.exe can be found on the right side after you click the link.
