Johnny Scoggins of Rochester has torched and braised metal into unique signs for the sites.

Riva Hitt Johnson's mom Margery Farr Hitt was the last student at Marcy Four Corners. They were going to have to hire a teacher for her alone, so she started going to Rochester school after that. She lived 4 miles west at the place Keith and I have that we call the "Bus". The old bus is still there that my Daddy, Ira Grinstead, used as a rest place while working cattle. It's on the south side of the Jud highway.

Daddy went to that school and he also bought the land and it was in the Williams Family name for at least 60 years.

We owned the property that the Foster School was on. I think Daddy's sister--Helen Williams--started her teaching career there.

The school site is on the farm-to-market road at the dirt road turn-off where we used to live. There is a sign that says Foster School. The old house was demolished about 6-7 years ago.
